Penang II : The Campbell Times

We stayed at The Campbell Times. It is located at Lebuh Campbell, the same row with Hameediyah. It was easy to find. We walked from Chowrasta to the hotel.

The staff is very helpful and friendly. We were given a room at the first floor since I've mentioned during booking that we are travelling with and elderly.

The room was equipped with air-conditioner, tv, and they provided slippers. The bed was a double-decker, single + queen sized bed.

The room is small and might make you feel a little claustrophobic and the ladder was a bit hard to climb. Nevertheless, it was perfect for the three of us because we only use the room to freshen up and rest/sleep. Most of the time we were busy exploring Penang.

This is a very nice place if you're planning to walk around Georgetown and spend your time outside instead of staying in the room. They also provide bicycle rental service.

We booked the room via Booking.com because at that time it was cheaper than Agoda. We paid RM260.00 (including RM128.00/night + additional RM2.00/night MBPP tax).
