'Sesuai' ni subjektif sebenarnya sebab banyak benda nak kena tengok. Budget pun nak kena jaga juga. Kalau budget besar memang tak fikir banyak, terus grab Quinny Zapp + MaxiCosi.

Selain budget, nak juga tahu recline level, senang tak nak maneuver, boleh rear facing tak, baby safety, berat stroller, senang tak nak fold dan saiz bila folded.

Mula-mula dah set nak beli Sweet Cherry SCR6 based on online reviews.

  1. Suitable from birth till 3 years (<17kg li="">
  2. Innovative design and portable lifestyle stroller
  3. Lightweight aluminum frame
  4. Adjustable backrest and footrest
  5. Can be in forward or rearward facing
  6. Traveling system: Compatible with C100 with additional adapter (SCR7)
  7. Net Weight 8.4kg
  8. Retail Price RM729
Kalau tak puas tengok online boleh survey dekat Jusco. Memang banyak model Sweet Cherry displayed.

The only downside is, it's quite heavy and too big for a Myvi/Viva boot.

Nampak pula My Dear. My Dear selalu buat warehouse sale kan? Murah memang murah so boleh beli stroller + carrier. Saiz pun tak besar sangat kalau ikut measurements dekat website tapi... mmm design tak cool. Hihi.

After further Googling, terjumpa satu topik dekat forum pasal stroller. One of the forumers is a Myvi user dan stroller dia guna sekarang, Halford Cosmo DX, muat letak dalam boot.

  1. Carrying strap for traveling
  2. 5-Point harness with comfort pads
  3. Deep recline will accommodate an infant
  4. Washable padded seat Cushion
  5. Front Swivel wheels
  6. Quick and Simple Tri-fold
  7. Canopy with viewing window
  8. Removable guardrail
  9. Independent wheel suspension system
  10. Large shopping Basket
  11. Self-standing after folding
  12. Stroller folds compact for easy storage
  13. Stroller Weight: 6.4kg
  14. Strolller Dimension: 37cm x 21cm x 97cm
  15. Retail Price RM535

Terus pergi One Baby World dekat UDA Business Centre sebab nak tengok sendiri dan request for a demo from the promoter. Bila fikir-fikir balik, not a big deal pun sebab yang paling penting, senang nak guna, compact dan ringan.

Datang kali kedua, terus pergi beli. Siap dapat voucher RM10. Masa ni terserlah keringanan dia sebab pergi sorang so, kena angkat kotak sendiri sampai masuk kereta but I didn't even break a sweat. Senang kata, I am very satisfied with my purchase.

Stroller dah pun selamat dihadiahkan tapi bukan merah, purple. Hopefully baby and parents suka.

Raya Rookie

Missing a few comrades. Next year Cuen pulak beraya dalam pantang. Eh.
First time beraya sebagai seorang pemakan gaji adalah sangat disaster. Semua benda nak beli sebab seronok ada duit sampai lupa nak simpan. Mmm. OK. At least pembelian memuaskan hati dan bukan ala kadar je... kecuali tudung. People need to stop producing tudung bidang 40". Leher pun tak cover. And I need to stop making impulse purchases, obviously.

Menuju minggu terakhir Syawal, tak sabar nak habiskan beraya. The opposite happened. Meriah juga pergi open house sana-sini. Dah berkereta, panjang langkah kita. Not exactly free kalau kita kira duit becek/ salam kokot/ whatever you call it tapi ya lah... berapa sen sangat nak dibandingkan dengan nikmat makan nasi pengantin dan berjumpa kawan-kawan. Syok betul.

ps Rindu pulak dekat baby Ofee.

Loving Luxola

Made my first (and second) Luxola purchase in July. Browsing through their website has become my guilty pleasure. Managed to tick off a few things from my makeup wishlist. Now that Sephora is in Johor Bahru I put my online makeup shopping on hold but most of the brands is not available locally so I will keep on checking their site every now and then. Overall, I am very happy with my new eye candies.

Free gifts

Sometimes there will be a free gift when you make a purchase. I got the Maybelline Colour Show Nail Polish and the cult favourite Beautyblender makeup sponge which I have been eyeing for since forever.

Sleek Face Form in Light

A face contouring palette with a contour shade, highlighter and blusher. Major love! It's pretty in the case and on the skin. Very pigmented and super silky powder. Easily my current go to product. I use it everyday during my one week Raya break. The only downside is the overly shimmered Rose Gold blusher.

Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge, Starter Kit and Shading Brush

Bought these because I love pixiwoo. The sponge was not meant for full coverage so I rarely use it. I prefer using my fingers to put on foundation because it's not tedious, easier and faster.

I like the starter kit. It comes with five brushes and a case with 3 extra slots which I use for my blusher brush, foundation brush and the Shading Brush. The bristles are soft, doesn't hurt my skin and looks so pretty. The Deluxe Crease Brush is too big for my crease, I use it to just dab the eyeshadow on the outer corner and use the Shading Brush (my favourite) to blend.

Sigma Beauty Highlighting Pencil

Dual-ended pencil with a choice of matte and shimmer shade to highlight the brow bone and shape the arch. Another new love. Versatile and so easy to blend.

Kitab Terfaktab - Konotasi Rasa

So, apa yang baru?

Beauty products boycott

Most people are starting to boycott companies who contributes to Israel. The focus is on McDonald's, Nestle, Starbucks, and L'Oreal although now it is argued that Starbucks and McDonald's does not fund the Zionists.

Above pictorial illustrates the consumer market big players in 2012 (link). There's a recent article which explains about who-owns-what (link). Trivia: Nestle owns 23% of L'Oreal shares (link).

To boycott fast food is easy, personal care products is a bit tricky.

Companies that are in the boycott list are, to name a few; L'Oreal, Estee Lauder, Unilever, Procter & Gamble. They own hundreds of personal care products including but not limited to makeup, skincare, and perfume. Usually, you will not know what brand is owned by which company if you don't do the research ie: I never knew that Urban Decay is affiliated with L'Oreal until I look it up on L'Oreal 's website.

You cannot rely on boycott lists as most of it is not updated. Stila is still on the list being the sub of Estee Lauder despite the fact that Stila has left Estee Lauder way back in 2006 and is currently under the management of Patriarch Partners.

To be sure, check their websites and differentiate between Jew-owned-companies and Israel-companies who supports Zionism.

I don't have any issues with other people's choice. To boycott or not, it's their own decision. As for me, I will try my best to avoid buying these products. In the italic brackets are things on my to-buy-list and the ones in bold are products I'm currently using.
